Creative Placemaking designed to engage and invigorate communities

CREATIVE CONCORD

Developed and produced by Local Edition, Creative Concord is an annual arts & culture experience tailored specifically for the City of Concord, CA. Working in partnership with Visit Concord and city staff, the event was established as an inaugural multi-day public art experience that engages a wide local demographic to unite via arts programming including murals, sculptures, music, and performing arts. The event is free to attend and accessible to a community currently devoid of anything similar. A celebration of arts & culture, Creative Concord was designed to be an economic impact and social interaction strategy utilizing the proven concepts of creative placemaking driving community engagement through the arts.
