Public Art Proposal Location #3

2nd Street Mural Concrete Retaining Wall

Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Public Comment Survey

The city invites you to take a few minutes to review these artwork proposals and provide feedback through the public comment period from October 20th to November 8th. Community input is a valuable part of the selection process.

Public feedback will be considered by the City and the artists before the final review board meeting. The jury will review all proposals and make final recommendations, taking all public comments into account, before one proposal is selected as a finalist and installation of the mural. Please note, while your feedback is important, it does not act as a vote.

The final review board meeting will be held on November 6th, where a single proposal will be selected, and a contract will be awarded. The Final Artist Review Panel meeting welcomes the public to make comments.

Comment Suggestions:

  • What are the strengths and weaknesses of the proposals?

  • Will the artwork be enjoyed by people of all ages and backgrounds?

  • How well does the proposed artwork fit into the environment?

  • Which mural proposal do you want to see in your community?

  • What do you want the artists to know?
